THE GSP AGROPECUÁRIA fish production applies the recirculation system (RAS) in one of its properties located in the surroundings of the city of Goiânia. This system suits to the original proposal as it is externally handled and carried out in surface tanks, without dumping its waste into nature, but recycling them, and placing them for the vegetables planted together, turning it into an Aquaponics System.
This system makes feasible to grow Tilapia fish with high density of fish per m³, resulting in production of up to 75kg/m³. Moreover, mixed production of vegetables with harvest of up to 4,500 lettuce heads per 45kg of Tilapia produced.
